Starting July 1, 2026, the Illinois Department of Early Childhood officially became the lead agency for Child Care Licensing, the Head Start State Collaboration Office Grant, Home Visiting, Early Intervention, the Child Care Assistance Program, Early Childhood Block Grant, and a range of other early childhood support to families, providers and educators.

- The CDC's COVID Data Tracker provides an integrated, county view of key data for monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States.
- The CDC's Vaccines.gov website has a search feature for COVID-19 and Flu vaccines near you.
The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) COVID-19 webpage is updated regularly with information in English and Spanish to keep Illinois residents informed.

The Chicago Public Schools (CPS) Coronavirus webpage features updates and resources for families, including In-Person and Remote Learning Guides.
The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) Coronavirus webpage, in partnership with IDPH, provides the most current resources and guidance to support Illinois education communities regarding the COVID-19 outbreak.
